As we planned this wedding, we kept coming back to how unbelievably grateful we are to have such a fun, energetic, and supportive group of friends and family surrounding us. The most rewarding part of this for us is to be able to bring together all of these incredible people in one memorable location. We recognize that a Europe wedding isn’t the most convenient, and we picked Ibiza with confidence that the trip will be worth your while. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with our favourite people in the world. See you in Ibiza.

FLIGHTS

NEW YORK to IBIZA

We recommend our NYC friends depart the evening of Wednesday, October 8th to arrive by midday on Thursday and settle into the hotel.

Both British Airways and Iberia have options departing JFK, connecting either through London or Madrid (10 - 11 hours total). Iberia is slightly more affordable, and both airlines have return flights scheduled between 12 - 2pm on Sunday or Monday to arrive back in NYC by 7pm. Note Monday is Columbus Day.

Please see links below to book your preferred flight.

CALIFORNIA to IBIZA

British Airways runs routes from San Francisco and Los Angeles to Ibiza through London, leaving between 3-4pm on Wednesday, October 8th, and flying back around ~11am on Sunday, October 12th or Monday, October 13th. Note Monday is Columbus Day.

Note the San Francisco flight lands only a few hours before the start of the welcome party but is a good option if you are not able to fly in a day or two earlier (or spend a day or two in London beforehand since you have to connect through there anyways).

Please see below links to the British Airways flights.

HOTELS

HACIENDA NA XAMENA

We highly recommend you stay at Hacienda as this is where the ceremony will occur. Note there are a limited amount of rooms.

Please book directly with the Hacienda Reservations team (email linked below) using the subject line “Addison & Lillian Wedding Guest Booking” in order to get our discounted rate, which is approx. €550/night (~$625). Please indicate your desired room choice and booking dates in your email (likely Thursday, October 9 - Sunday, October 12).

THE CLUB CALA SAN MIGUEL

The Club Cala is just 7 minutes from Hacienda and rooms are available for €350/night (~$360). We will be arranging transit from Club Cala for all wedding events.

TRANSIT

TO / FROM AIRPORT

There are taxis available at the airport upon arrival, but we would recommend you pre-book a car to avoid any delays. The hotels can help arrange this, along with pre-booking your ride back to the airport for departure.

EVENT TRANSPORT

We will arrange transit for all wedding events for guests at both Hacienda and Club Cala. Please note that taxis and Ubers on island can be a challenge so make sure not to miss any pre-scheduled transfers.

SMD BOARDING SCHOOL

We do not have a registry but if you are in the giving spirit, we would love guests to make a donation to the very special school we support in Nepal - SMD Boarding School. The donation link is below. Please send us your confirmation as we would love to see who donated so we can thank you.

SMDers come from communities in the high Himalayas, up to a 21-day trek only reachable by foot, where they have no access to real education. Because of how remote their villages are and the fact that their families can no longer support them at home, they live at the school full-time, which becomes their beloved community. The school is 100% supported through outside donations and is a registered 501(c)(3) charity.

Before moving to London in October 2024, we worked at SMD for almost 4 months teaching English, basketball, art, and sustainability, so this is a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. These kids are profoundly passionate, charismatic, sharp, and tough, and the school is host to some of the funniest little monks and nuns we've ever met. We can confirm first-hand the powerful impact these donations make in the lives of these students and the incredible ripple effect it has on the lives of their families, friends, communities, and the people of Nepal.
